This piece, as with many in the Glass Garden series, began with a found object, in this case a "Frozen Charlotte" doll dug up in my neighbor's garden and given to me. As in "Conversation" Charlotte is surrounded by fragmented Blue Spode plates and encased in a vintage clock case.
